I love this place because the guys are so friendly and the difference between them and other Pawn shops is that when I am in there, I have noticed they treat everyone with respect! People pawn things because they are struggling and the last thing they need is to be stripped of their dignity. They are so cool and kind! They also have a great inventory of merchandise at a fair price!
All of the gentlemen who assisted me with my needs were respectful, kind, and knowledgeable. Every encounter I have had in this particular pawn shop has been nothing less than stellar. They offer reasonable prices and have a wealth of contacts for any item they aren't interested in. I would especially like to shout out the gentleman that runs the coins and jewelery section. He was incredibly kind and VERY knowledgeable in his trade, he doesn't seem to know what a stupid question is and answers all inquiries concisely and with respect which is loads more than I can say for other places in the area. I highly recommend these guys and this shop!
Need to find something fast? These guys are reasonable and accommodating! Friendliest shop in Roanoke. Fair pricing on everything from tools to musical instruments. Interesting selection of jewelry. I would definitely do some sort of psychic/hoodoo/spiritual cleansing on any jewelry you pick up in a pawn shop, but that's just me. You do you, baby!
I enjoy going to pawn shops to see what treasures they might have available. Hands down, The Pawn Shop on 9th is the place to go. Great stuff, great prices, and fantastic service. Really a great group of guys came in as soon as they opened and they already had a few customers waiting took care of me right away. Victor gave me a very fair loan on my tools and I was in and out quick. Will be back definitely to get my stuff but also to shop very organized and professional.
Victor went above and beyond to help me even if it meant loosing my sale. I really appreciate the effort and kindness. You guys are awesome!! A+++
